The SRA Institute for Retailing was set up in early 1985. To date, the Institute has helped to train over 69,000 staff from the retail industry in Singapore. Currently, Training@SRA offers both Public runs and In-house Customized/Contextualised Training programmes to meet your training needs.

Retailers can also tap on to the training resources of the Institute for their in-house training, which could be specifically tailored to suit the training needs and corporate environment of the individual retail enterprise. Training programmes are conducted by practioner-trainers who are mostly senior retail executives and practitioners.
Training@SRA offers a list of SDF and WSQ-Accredited retail-related training programmes, which are Skillsfuture Credit approved.
What is Skillsfuture Credit?
In line with the Skillsfuture Singapore Initivative, SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning.
Who are eligible?
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will have received an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016. The credit will not expire and the government will provide periodic top-ups, so one may accumulate your credit.
What programmes are eligible for the Skillsfuture Credit?
Singaporeans may use the SkillsFuture Credit on top of existing government course subsidies to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related programmes. Eligibility, in particular, includes programmes subsidised or approved by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
SRA has an extensive suite of WSQ Certificate programmes, the Retail Supervisory Management WSQ programme and our SDF-approved programmes, which are approved for use with the Skillsfuture Credit.
Training@SRA also organises short retail programmes of contemporary issues and retail seminars / workshops for member and non-member retailers.
